422nd RC Meeting (CIBRC) India Updates- 9th  RC Meeting after COVID-19

The 422ndMeeting of the Registration Committee (RC) was held under the Chairmanship of Dr. S. K. Malhotra, Agriculture Commissioner & Chairman, Registration Committee on 23.10.2020 at 10:00 Hrs onwards through NIC video conference. Dr. Ravi Prakash, PPA, DPPQ&S, Faridabad; Dr. C. D. Tripathi, Professor Emeritus, Department of Pharmacology, VMMC, and S J Hospital, New Delhi; Dr. S. P. Sahni, (Representative of Drug Controller General of India), New Delhi; Sh. Madhav Chakarborty, Joint Director & Regional Head, IIP New Delhi, and Dr. J. P. Singh, Secretary, CIB&RC attended the meeting.

9(3) Approvals – 422nd RC Meeting (CIBRC) India

ADAMA India, Syngenta India, BASF India, PI Industries, E. I. DuPont India, Rallis India, Dhanuka Agritech, Arysta LifeScience, Sumitomo, United Phosphorus (India) LLP, Hemani Industries, Atul, Rotam, Parijat Industries, Sulphur Mills, Ichiban CropScience, Willowood, Krishi Rasayan, and many other companies got approvals in different categories.

Highlights are-

ADAMA India has got two approvals under section 9(3) for –

  • Flurochloridone 18.3% w/w CS for Formulation Indigenous-Without registering Technical (FI-WRT) category.
  • Prochloraz 23.5% + Tricyclazole 20% SE for Formulation Indigenous Manufacture (FIM) category

Syngenta India has got one approval under section 9(3) for –

  • Bensfulfuron methyl Technical 97% min. for Technical Import (TI) category

BASF India has got one approval under section 9(3) for –

  • Saflufenacil Technical 94.5% w/w min. for Technical Import (TI) category

PI Industries has got two approvals under section 9(3) for –

  • Dinotefuron 20.0% w/w SG for Formulation Indigenous Manufacture (FIM) vs Formulation Import (FI) category
  • Thiourea Technical 99% w/w Min. for Export category

Arysta Life Science has got seven approvals under section 9(3) for –

  • Temephos 44.6% EC for Export category
  • Thiamethoxam 350 g/L FS (Eq. to 30% w/w) for Export category
  • S-metolachlor Technical (96.00% w/w min.) for Export category etc.

Rallis India has got one approval under section 9(3) for –

  • Fenoxanil 5% + Isoprothiolane 30% EC for Formulation Indigenous Manufacture (FIM) category
  • Sulphur Mills has got ten approvals under section 9(3) for –
  • Clomazone Technical for Technical Import (TI) category
  • Imidacloprid Technical 96% Min. for Export Category
  • Clomazone Technical 96.00% w/w Min. for Export Category
  • Tebuconazole Technical 97.00% w/w Min. for Export Category, etc.

Krishi Rasayan has got six approvals under section 9(3) for –

  • Glyphosate 36% (w/v) SL for Export category
  • Thiamethoxam Technical 97 % Min. for Export category
  • Thiamethoxam 35% w/w FS for Export category

9(4) Approvals – 422nd RC Meeting (CIBRC) India

There is no Technical Indigenous Manufacture (TIM) and Formulation Indigenous Manufacture (FIM) cases in the 422nd RC meeting.

Crystal Crop, Sigan Chemical, FIL Industries, PI Industries, and Krishi Rasayan has got approvals in Technical Import (TI) category only.

Highlights are-

Crystal Crop has got one approval under section 9(4) for –

  • Carbofuran Technical 90% w/w min. for Technical Import (TI) category
