Pendiclofenate is a novel phenoxyacetic acid–derived herbicide developed by Corteva Agriscience and is a complex ester of 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid (2,4-D). It is effective for controlling undesirable vegetation in crops that have been rendered tolerant or resistant to 2,4-D and may be applied by contacting the vegetation or its locus, or by soil application, to suppress or minimize the emergence of unwanted plants.
