Sulfindoflufen is a new aryltrifluoroethylsulfide-based acaricide and insecticide developed by Shaanxi Sunger Road Bio-Science Co., Ltd. It demonstrates strong activity against key pest families, including Tetranychidae (such as Tetranychus urticae, Tetranychus cinnabarinus, Panonychus ulmi, Tetranychus citri, Kanzawa spider mite, and Tetranychus viennensis), as well as Eriophyidae, Tarsonemidae, Eupodidae, and Tenuipalpidae. Among these, it shows particularly high efficacy against Tetranychus cinnabarinus.

Global Patent Protection
Shenyang University of Chemical Technology and Jiangsu Shaanxi Sunger has filed an international patent application seeking protection for the active compound Sulfindoflufen. Subject to national phase entries and grant, the resulting patents are expected to provide protection until 2039.
