Fentiazoluron, developed by Corteva Agriscience, is a broad-spectrum insecticide effective against several economically important pests. It provides strong control of the Green Peach Aphid (Myzus persicae, MYZUPE, “GPA”), Sweet Potato Whitefly (Bemisia tabaci, BEMITA, “SPW”), and Western Flower Thrips (Frankliniella occidentalis, FRANOC, “WFT”). In addition, it is highly effective against major lepidopteran pests such as the Corn Earworm (Helicoverpa zea, HELIZE, “CEW”), Fall Armyworm (Spodoptera frugiperda, LAPHFR, “FAW”), Beet Armyworm (Spodoptera exigua, LAPHEG, “BAW”), and Soybean Looper (Chrysodeixis includens, PSEPIN, “SBL”). The insecticide also targets the Neotropical Brown Stink Bug (Euschistus heros, EUSCHE, “BSB”) and the Brown Planthopper (Nilaparvata lugens, NILALU, “BPH”), making it a valuable tool for integrated pest management across multiple crops.
