Styptovit-E Tablet 10’s is an antihemorrhagic drug (tending to prevent, arrest, or stops bleeding). It amends abnormal platelet adhesion, thereby reducing the capillary bleeding. Styptovit-E Tablet 10’s acts on the first step of hemostasis by improving platelet adhesiveness and restoring capillary resistance. It is used to prevent or reduce bleeding in conditions like abnormal blood loss during periods and dysfunctional uterine bleeding. When you take Styptovit-E Tablet 10’s, it works by hemostatic action (process to prevent and stop bleeding) by acting on the first step of hemostasis by improving platelet adhesiveness and restoring capillary resistance.

b. Finast’, ‘Finast-T’

Finast T Capsule 30’s is a combination drug containing ‘urinary bladder relaxant‘ medication, used primarily in treating the enlarged prostate gland. Benign prostatic hyperplasia (enlarged prostate gland) is a non-cancerous growth of the prostate gland caused due to overproduction of a dihydrotestosterone hormone in men. As the gland enlarges, it can lead to urinary problems, such as difficulty passing urine and frequent urination.

Tamsulosin Structure

• API-Finast T Capsule 30’s contains Tamsulosin (alpha-blockers) and Finasteride (5-alpha reductase inhibitor)
• Uses of Finast T Capsule 3 : Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH)
• Drug-Drug Interactions: Finast T Capsule 30’s is known to contra-indicate with medicines used to treat benign prostate hyperplasia (doxazosin), medicines for heart disease (amiodarone), high blood pressure (diltiazem), medicines for eczema (tacrolimus), antifungal medicines (fluconazole, itraconazole), and antidepressants (fluoxetine, paroxetine).

Finasteride Structure

c. Dynapress

Dynapres 0.4 Capsule 30’s belongs to the category of medicine known as alpha-blocker, used primarily for the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia – BPH (enlarged prostate), and urinary bladder outlet obstruction. It acts by relaxing prostate gland’s muscles and urinary bladder neck at the obstruction site that results in improved urine flow with reduced BPH symptoms. Dynapres 0.4 Capsule 30’s are for use by men only and not indicated for use in women. Dynapres 0.4 Capsule 30’s does not cure prostate cancer.
