Pyriflubenzoxim is a new candidate in pyrimidinyl benzoate chemical class from Chinese Player Jiangsu Agrochem Laboratory Co., Ltd. Company has filed an international patent covering Pyriflubenzoxim in 2015, wherein Pyriflubenzoxim is effective to control 94% on barnyard grass, junglerice, and paspalum distichum in the paddy field brings high safety to rice plants and is environmentally friendly and low-toxic.

The parent acid has its own ISO common name, bispyribac [125401-75-4]. “Fumiwocaomi” and “fluoropyribenzoxim” have been used in the literature.

In the late 1980s, pyrimidine salicylic acid herbicides were first discovered and developed by Japanese Combinatorial Chemicals, the first commercial variety of Bispyribac-sodium (CN1035292A), and then South Korea LG Chemical Company developed pyrimidine Pyribenzoxim (EP658549A1).

The Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Zhejiang Chemical Technology Group Co., Ltd. have jointly developed profenafen and isoprofen (CN112793C), etc.

In order to develop a herbicide that can effectively control barnyardgrass, red-footed barnyard, paspalum, and rice barnyard in paddy fields. The applicant has carried out extensive research on cyflufenox compounds. After long-term research and experiments, it is found that the trifluoromethyl substituent is introduced into the specific position of the pyrimidine salicylic acid compounds, and the obtained cyflufenox The compounds show excellent control performance on perennial and annual grass weeds and have special effects on the control of barnyardgrass, red-footed barnyardgrass, paspalum, and rice barnyard in paddy fields. Moreover, pyrimoxazole compounds can achieve the control of weeds such as barnyardgrass, red-footed barnyardgrass, paspalum, and rice barnyard at relatively low doses, and at the same time have a high degree of safety for rice crops, and are resistant to barnyardgrass. The control of weeds is very effective, environmentally friendly, low toxicity, and has broad application prospects in the field of pesticides.

The said compound was found to be active and effective to control 94% on barnyard grass, junglerice, and paspalum distichum in the paddy field bringing high safety to rice plants and being environmentally friendly and low-toxic.

Abstract: Disclosed is a fluorine pyribenzoxim compound with herbicidal activity and a preparation method therefor. The fluorine pyribenzoxim compound is O-[2,6-bis(4,6-dimethoxy-2-pyrimidinyl)oxygroup]benzoylphenyl(2-trifluoromethyl) formaldoxime, O-[2,6-bis(4,6-dimethoxy-2-pyrimidinyl)oxygroup]benzoylphenyl(3-trifluoromethyl) formaldoxime, or O-[2,6-bis(4,6-dimethoxy-2-pyrimidinyl)oxygroup]benzoylphenyl(4-trifluoromethyl) formaldoxime. The preparation method therefor uses trifluoromethyl-substituted formaldoxime and 2,6-bis(4,6-dimethoxy-2-pyrimidinyl-2-oxygroup) benzoic acid as the raw materials. The fluorine pyribenzoxim compound can achieve a control effect over 94% on barnyard grass, junglerice, and paspalum distichum in the paddy field, brings high safety to rice plants, and is environmentally friendly and low-toxic.

Remarks:

The patent discloses the barnyardgrass, red-footed barnyardgrass and double-eared paspalum in the early rice field and the middle rice direct seeding field can be effectively controlled with 20% Pyriflubenzoxim. A wettable powder (WP), wherein, the control effect of the early rice field reaches 99.63%. The control effect of the middle rice direct seeding field reached 99.57%.
